Day Technician | Data Centres (M/F/D)

Our client is a leading provider of data center solutions, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of mission-critical infrastructure. Their state-of-the-art facilities support cloud services, enterprise computing, and high-performance data processing for global organizations.

To support their operations, they are seeking a Day Technician based in Germany to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational support within a high-availability data center environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
• Monitor critical infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and backup generators.
• Identify and resolve hardware, cabling, and environmental issues to ensure maximum uptime.
• Work closely with engineering, IT, and facility teams to maintain optimal performance and efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols, compliance standards, and operational procedures for secure data center operations.
• Assist in emergency response situations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical certification or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Facility Engineering preferred.
• Experience in data center operations, facility maintenance, or mission-critical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, power distribution (UPS, generators, switchgear), and environmental controls.
• Familiarity with data center monitoring systems (BMS/DCIM) and structured cabling.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 environment, supporting on-call and shift-based operations as needed.
• Fluent in German and English.
