Job Opportunity: Lead Data Center Scheduler – Frankfurt

Are you an experienced scheduler with a passion for precision and excellence in data center construction? We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Data Center Scheduler based in Frankfurt, where you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing project schedules for cutting-edge data center construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Scheduling: Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules for large-scale data center construction projects. Ensure that all project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are clearly defined and met.

  • Coordination and Communication: Collaborate closely with project managers, construction teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on timelines and project objectives. Provide regular updates and reports on schedule status, highlighting any potential delays or risks.

  • Risk Management: Identify and analyze potential scheduling conflicts or delays. Proactively develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

  • Resource Allocation: Manage and coordinate the allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal efficiency and project progress.

  • Change Management: Monitor and manage schedule changes, ensuring that all adjustments are documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders. Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate project changes or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all scheduling processes adhere to best practices and industry standards. Conduct regular schedule reviews and audits to maintain accuracy and reliability.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed schedule reports to senior management and clients, providing clear insights into project timelines, progress, and potential risks.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in project scheduling, preferably in data center construction or a similarly complex technical environment. Familiarity with large-scale construction projects is essential.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and a strong understanding of project management principles. Knowledge of data center infrastructure and construction processes is highly desirable.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential scheduling conflicts or delays proactively.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring that all project schedules are meticulously maintained and regularly updated.

  • Team Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor junior schedulers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required; proficiency in German is a strong advantage.
