Job Description: Procurement Director

We are seeking a Procurement Director to lead strategic engineering procurement for IP, software, components, and services. The ideal candidate will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with procurement policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that minimize costs and maximize value.
• Build and manage a high-performing procurement team.
• Identify and assess suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and industry standards.
• Analyze market trends, recommend process improvements, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Provide regular reports and insights on spend data to senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in IP and EDA procurement within the semiconductor or high-tech industry.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
• Proven track record of developing cost-saving procurement strategies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
