Our client is a leading semiconductor company specializing in low-power solutions for IoT and AI applications. Their cutting-edge technology enables energy-efficient computing, connectivity, and intelligent processing for next-generation smart devices.
To support their expanding hardware applications team, they are seeking a Senior Engineer – Applications Hardware based in the USA. This role will focus on developing, optimizing, and supporting hardware solutions that integrate their low-power semiconductor products into customer applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate hardware reference designs and evaluation boards for IoT and AI semiconductor products.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers integrating low-power semiconductors into their designs.
- Optimize power consumption, performance, and reliability of system-level implementations.
- Work closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and testing semiconductor-based systems.
- Support customer training, documentation, and application notes for hardware solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in hardware applications engineering, embedded systems, or semiconductor design.
- Strong knowledge of low-power design principles, analog/digital circuits, and power management.
- Hands-on experience with PCB design, schematic capture, and signal integrity analysis.
- Familiarity with wireless connectivity protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, LPWAN) and AI edge processing is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer-facing communication skills.
