Field Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Manager

About the Role

As a Technical Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing key accounts, and providing technical solutions across industries such as Medical, Transportation, Marine, Industrial, Aerospace, and Defence. Working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, you will play a key role in executing growth strategies and delivering innovative embedded computing solutions tailored to customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, driving growth in both new and existing accounts.

  • Work with key partners to develop bespoke embedded computing solutions for customers.

  • Engage with decision-makers at all levels, from R&D and Engineering to CEO/CTO.

  • Lead negotiations and manage the sales cycle from opportunity identification to closing deals.

  • Provide consultative technical sales support, ensuring customers receive optimal solutions.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.

  • Ensure accurate CRM reporting and sales pipeline management.

What We’re Looking For

 Degree in Engineering or similar
 Proven experience in embedded computing sales,
Strong technical understanding and ability to provide consultative solutions to customers.
 Track record of successfully managing accounts and driving sales growth in industrial markets.
 Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
 Self-motivated, ambitious, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
 Willingness to travel as required.
