To expand their UK presence, they are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive business development, customer engagement, and technical support for their semiconductor and precision manufacturing equipment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the semiconductor, nanotechnology, and precision manufacturing sectors.
  • Provide technical consultation to customers, ensuring solutions align with their R&D and production needs.
  • Manage sales cycles from lead generation to contract negotiation and post-sales support.
  • Work closely with engineering and service teams to ensure seamless equipment installation, training, and ongoing support.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, customer requirements, and emerging technologies to drive sales strategy.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in technical sales, business development, or application engineering within the semiconductor or high-tech equipment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor processing, nanotechnology, or precision manufacturing equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel within the UK as required.
