Director of Demand Creation – EMEA (Semiconductor Distribution)

Are you a semiconductor industry expert with a passion for driving demand creation and expanding market share? We are seeking a Director of Demand Creation – EMEA to lead design-in and business development efforts across key markets, working closely with OEMs, EMS providers, and channel partners. This is a senior leadership role for a results-driven professional with extensive experience in semiconductor distribution who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
This role can be based in the UK or Europe and will be a remote role with frequent travel

Key Responsibilities:

? Drive Design-In Activity: Spearhead demand creation initiatives, influencing key design and procurement decisions to increase design wins and long-term revenue growth.

? Develop Strategic Partnerships: Build and strengthen relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and engineering teams to position the company’s franchised semiconductor lines as the preferred solutions.

? Work with Suppliers & Manufacturers: Collaborate with leading semiconductor manufacturers to promote new technologies, ensuring alignment with market needs and customer demands.

? Partner with Sales & Distribution Teams: Support field application engineers (FAEs) and account managers in developing technical sales strategies that maximize penetration in key verticals.

? Market Intelligence & Strategy: Analyze emerging trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine go-to-market strategies and capitalize on new opportunities.

? Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and develop a team of demand creation professionals, driving a culture of innovation, customer engagement, and technical excellence.

About You:

? Semiconductor Distribution Expertise: Extensive experience in demand creation, technical sales, or business development within the semiconductor distribution industry.

? Strong Supplier & Customer Network: A well-established network within leading semiconductor suppliers and OEMs, with a deep understanding of their decision-making processes.

? Proven Track Record: A history of successfully driving design wins, managing technical sales pipelines, and converting opportunities into revenue growth.

? Technical & Commercial Acumen: Strong knowledge of semiconductors, embedded systems, power solutions, analog, RF, or microcontrollers, with the ability to translate technical advantages into business value.

? Exceptional Leadership & Influence: Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with FAEs, sales teams, and suppliers to drive business success.

? Results-Driven & Strategic: A hands-on, target-oriented approach with a focus on delivering measurable growth and securing market leadership.
