Our client is a leading semiconductor manufacturer operating a state-of-the-art 200mm fabrication facility in the USA. They are committed to high-performance chip production, ensuring quality and efficiency through advanced equipment maintenance and process optimization.
To support their operations, they are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician (Implant) – Night Shift to ensure the reliability, performance, and uptime of implant equipment used in semiconductor fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on implant tools and equipment in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic, mechanical, and control system issues to minimize downtime.
- Utilize analytical and critical thinking skills to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to optimize tool performance and efficiency.
- Follow cleanroom protocols, safety procedures, and maintenance documentation standards.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records of equipment performance and service history.
Qualifications & Experience
- Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
- Minimum four years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance, preferably in implant equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems, control mechanisms, and automation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a cleanroom environment.
