About the Company

Our client is a leading designer, developer, and global supplier of power semiconductors, delivering high-performance solutions for automotive, industrial, and energy applications. Their advanced semiconductor technologies drive efficiency, reliability, and innovation across global markets.

To support their European R&D expansion, they are seeking an EU Design Team Director, based in Germany, to lead design and development teams working on next-generation power semiconductor solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for power semiconductor design and development in Europe.
• Manage and grow design teams, ensuring high-performance execution and collaboration.
• Define and drive design strategies, methodologies, and innovation roadmaps.
• Oversee end-to-end semiconductor design processes, from concept to production.
• Collaborate with global engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams.
• Engage with customers and industry partners to align design efforts with market needs.
• Ensure compliance with quality, reliability, and industry standards for power semiconductor design.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in power semiconductor design, including MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC, or GaN technologies.
• Proven leadership experience managing semiconductor design teams.
• Strong understanding of design tools, simulation methodologies, and power electronics applications.
• Excellent technical and strategic decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional global teams.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
