HiL (Hardware-in-Loop) Engineer - Prague - Apply here at MRL
We are looking for a HiL Engineer to support the development of HiL infrastructures for E-motor controls software validation. This role involves designing and maintaining HiL test setups and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth validation of embedded software systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain HiL test environments for E-Motor controls software validation.
- Lead the preparation of devices under test (DUT), from drafting specifications to commissioning and deployment.
- Develop real-time models for fault emulation and plant simulations (E-Motor, Inverter, mechanical load).
- Create and manage automated test suites to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and motor control engineers to resolve issues.
- Document technical details including DUT specifications and HiL commissioning plans.
- Report bugs and perform root-cause analysis.
- Provide regular HiL test planning and KPI reporting.
Mandatory Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in test automation for closed-loop control systems like inverters.
- Solid knowledge of control systems, electrical engineering, and communication protocols (CAN).
- Experience with dSPACE HiL hardware/software, Matlab, Simulink, and CANOE.
- Strong understanding of analog/digital circuits (e.g., PWM, current/voltage sensors).
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
