HVAC Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and review engineering documents for HVAC & MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) installations in line with GMP standards.
• Serve as the technical contact for building utilities with contractors and the design team.
• Translate technical requirements into specifications for building systems and installations.
• Oversee HVAC & MEP subcontractors and address technical questions.
• Manage the commissioning of HVAC & MEP systems.
• Participate in the contractor selection process, focusing on technical assessments.
• Create and maintain technical specifications for facilities that comply with GMP.
• Ensure proper coordination of technical interfaces between building subsystems.
• Ensure timely delivery of site engineering documents.
• Approve all technical documents related to HVAC & MEP installations and GMP rooms.
• Provide backup for the building project manager.

Maintenance & Reliability:

• Assess maintenance needs for HVAC & MEP systems.
• Develop strategies to minimize downtime and prevent system failures.
• Organize and review as-built documentation.
• Support CMMS implementation.

Profile:

• Master’s degree in industrial/civil engineering, electro-mechanics, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office; Revit/BIM knowledge is a plus.
• Experienced in industrial buildings, particularly HVAC and clean room systems.
• Experience with nuclear/pharma facilities is a strong asset.
• Strong communication skills in English and Dutch.
