Our client is a leading global manufacturer of high-performance valves and actuators designed for critical process applications in the semiconductor industry. Their products are essential for ultra-high purity environments, ensuring precision, efficiency, and reliability in chip manufacturing facilities worldwide.

To support their growth in North America, they are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive business development, account management, and strategic sales initiatives in Minnesota and the surrounding region.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute a regional sales plan targeting semiconductor fabs, OEMs, and equipment suppliers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market share within the semiconductor ecosystem.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to offer tailored technical solutions for client needs.

Client Management & Business Development

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing accounts while actively prospecting for new clients.
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to engineers and procurement teams.

Negotiation & Closing Deals

  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and after-sales support.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports.

Qualifications

Experience & Background

  • At least five years of sales experience in the semiconductor industry or a related high-tech manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of fluid control products, including valves, actuators, and pumps, and their role in semiconductor fabs.
  • Proven track record in B2B technical sales, business development, and key account management.

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to navigate complex, technical sales cycles with engineering and procurement teams.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive growth in a competitive market.

Education & Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Based in Minnesota or willing to relocate.
