The Role: Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer, you will be a critical part of the sales team, working closely with buyers to understand their challenges and showcase how they can add value to their operations. You’ll craft solution visions, present product demonstrations, and guide technical aspects of the sales process. Your role will also involve collaborating with internal teams, like Product, R&D, and Professional Services, to refine current offerings and contribute to new solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with buyers to understand their business challenges and demonstrate how their solutions can address their needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to influence key decision-makers, including C-level executives, using your technical expertise.
  • Present product demonstrations that are clear, impactful, and tailored to buyers' needs.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Product, R&D, Professional Services) to provide feedback on products and shape future offerings.
  • Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and handle technical aspects of the sales cycle, including security questionnaires.
  • Continuously expand your knowledge of products and industry trends.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience diagnosing complex business challenges and defining software solutions.
  • Expertise in SaaS solutions, including, HCM, Task Management, Payroll, or similar fields.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence C-level audiences.
  • A team player with a passion for knowledge-sharing and collaboration.
  • Curious mindset with a passion for technology and innovation.
  • Fluent in German.
