Senior Business Development / Due Diligence Manager - Venture Capital

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with industry, foundations, academia, and funding partners.
• Serve as the liaison between entities, managing due diligence for drug development projects.
• Evaluate research for commercial and clinical potential, including IP assessments and protection activities.
• Conduct market analysis and develop campaigns to promote new oncology research and support approved projects.
• Foster partnerships between academic and industry leaders to support company research.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage agreements (CDA/MTA/Research/license) to valorise research.
• Assist with company creation based on company-generated IP.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Master’s in molecular biology (PhD is a plus).
• 7+ years of experience in business development or licensing in life sciences, particularly oncology (industry, venture capital, or academic tech transfer experience preferred).
• Expertise in technology assessment, IP protection, and commercialization.
• Strong agreement drafting and negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and closing abilities.
• Fluency in English; Dutch knowledge is a plus.
