About the Company

To support their continued innovation, they are seeking a Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer based in the USA to design, develop, and optimize hardware architectures for cutting-edge wearable devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of embedded hardware systems for wearable semiconductor applications.
  • Develop high-speed, low-power PCB designs, including processor, sensor, RF, and power management circuits.
  • Work closely with ASIC, embedded software, and signal processing teams to optimize system performance.
  • Conduct schematic design, circuit simulation, and PCB layout reviews, ensuring manufacturability and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and validate hardware prototypes, optimizing for power efficiency, signal integrity, and thermal performance.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, test, and compliance teams to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up to date with emerging semiconductor and wearable technologies to drive innovation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in embedded hardware development, preferably in wearable, IoT, or low-power semiconductor applications.
  • Expertise in high-speed digital, mixed-signal, and RF design for embedded systems.
  • Strong background in PCB design, power management, and sensor integration.
  • Hands-on experience with schematic capture, layout tools (Altium, Cadence, or similar), and circuit simulation.
  • Experience with low-power wireless technologies (Bluetooth, UWB, NFC, Wi-Fi) and signal processing architectures is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and network analyzers.
