Responsibilities

• Develop and refine processes for the separation and purification of radiochemical materials.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advance radiochemical process development.
• Conduct radiochemical and chemical analyses utilizing techniques such as alpha and gamma spectrometry or ICP-MS.
• Assist in transitioning innovative radiochemical processes to GMP-compliant production lines, including drafting procedures and selecting consumables.
• Define requirements and contribute to the selection of equipment and tools essential for radiochemical operations.
• Prepare the lab for future operations, ensuring timely production schedules that align with customer demands.
• Train and mentor operational staff to ensure efficient execution of processes.
• Partner closely with the Regulatory team to maintain compliance with relevant regulations in radiochemistry.
• Work alongside the Quality team to ensure adherence to established quality standards for all operations.
• Enforce and monitor safety protocols to guarantee compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in all activities.
• Foster innovation by staying informed of advancements in radiochemistry and integrating best practices into operations.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in Radiochemistry, Nuclear Chemistry, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in radiochemistry, with expertise in Actinium-225 or other alpha-emitters considered an advantage.
• Proven track record of scaling lab-based processes to GMP production.
• Comprehensive knowledge of radiochemical processes, equipment, and tools, as well as a strong understanding of safety and GMP regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex technical issues.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
