An industry-leading technology company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wireless Systems Engineer to join their innovative research and development team. This role will focus on advancing 6G technologies, contributing to the design, simulation, and modeling of next-generation wireless systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead research in physical layer, MAC layer, and air-interface design
- Develop and evaluate wireless protocols and algorithms through theoretical analysis and simulations for beyond 5G/6G systems.
- Analyze wireless channel models using mathematical and empirical data to accurately represent propagation characteristics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare technical reports, contribute to patents, and present findings at scientific conferences.
- Support industry standards efforts and participate in pre-standards research.
Qualifications:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in wireless communications
- Proficiency in MATLAB and experience with 3GPP system/link level simulations.
- Strong expertise in 3GPP, mmWave, beamforming, RF propagation, and advanced waveform design.
- Research experience in Beyond 5G/6G with a proven track record of peer-reviewed publications.
