Analog Layout Engineer – Team Lead

We’re recruiting on behalf of a cutting-edge semiconductor company developing advanced analog and mixed-signal technologies. They’re now looking for a Senior Analog Layout Engineer to lead layout efforts on complex circuit blocks and play a key role in the development of high-performance ICs.
 

What you’ll do:

• Lead a team of layout engineers on advanced analog/mixed-signal designs

• Own floorplanning, layout methodology, and quality control for production-ready blocks

• Collaborate closely with design engineers and project managers to meet technical requirements

• Approve final layout designs, ensuring compliance with design rules and project specs

• Stay current with tools and trends in deep submicron CMOS and advanced nodes

• Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide technical input as needed

What you bring:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of relevant industry experience

• Proven expertise in analog/mixed-signal layout at deep submicron and advanced nodes

• Strong command of Cadence Virtuoso, Calibre DRC/LVS, and related industry tools

• Deep knowledge of layout best practices and design-for-manufacturability principles

• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

• Ability to manage multiple layout projects with precision and accountability

Bonus skills:

• Hands-on experience with key memory blocks (e.g. sense amps, charge pumps, read/write assist)

• Familiarity with memory interfaces or controllers

• Background in emerging non-volatile memory technologies
