Role Overview:

A leading provider in professional audio and video communications technology is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to join our European Customer Experience team. This role supports customers with technical queries, product design guidance, training, and occasional on-site support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert, friendly technical support through phone, email, and chat channels.
• Assist with system commissioning, optimization, and design troubleshooting.
• Resolve advanced technical issues for customers, consultants, and sales reps.
• Coordinate product returns and repairs as needed.
• Document and escalate technical issues to relevant departments.
• Conduct on-site visits to customer locations and deliver customer training as required.
• Contribute to internal testing, product content, and documentation.
• Add to the online knowledge base and assist in product staging for trade shows.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience in the audio, video, or control systems industry.
• Relevant degree or professional certifications preferred.
• Strong foundational knowledge of audiovisual systems.
• Demonstrated skill in system design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of control and media networking.
• Proficient presentation and training skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.
• A genuine commitment to high-quality customer service.

Work Environment:

• Up to 25% travel is required.
• Based at the Central European office near Antwerp, Belgium.
