Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. Your expertise will drive automation, improve system reliability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Deploy, manage, and scale applications on AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure.
  • Automate routine tasks to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices and tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Enhance security and compliance measures across our infrastructure.
  • Contribute to system architecture and design decisions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Jenkins and GitLab for CI/CD.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Solid understanding of Linux administration and shell scripting.
  • Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices.
  • Experience in a microservices architecture environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA).
