Job Description:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. Your expertise will drive automation, improve system reliability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.
- Deploy, manage, and scale applications on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure.
- Automate routine tasks to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices and tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
- Enhance security and compliance measures across our infrastructure.
- Contribute to system architecture and design decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Jenkins and GitLab for CI/CD.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
- Solid understanding of Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices.
- Experience in a microservices architecture environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA).
