On behalf of our client, a leading innovator in semiconductor IP and SoC integration, we are seeking a Product Engineer – Interconnect & Memory Hierarchy to join their expert team in France. This role offers the opportunity to influence SoC architecture, development, and verification in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Your Role

As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, documenting, and validating new SoC features, acting as an internal customer to the engineering team. You will:

  • Prototype new features and refine concepts iteratively.
  • Specify development requirements for the engineering team.
  • Test features as an end-user during development.
  • Write technical documentation, including user manuals.

This is an opportunity to work alongside industry experts in an innovative environment where your contributions directly shape next-generation SoC designs.

What You Bring

  • Ten or more years of SoC design and verification experience, with expertise in CPUs, GPUs, network-on-chip, or equivalent.
  • Proven contributions to RTL code or software for these products.
  • Familiarity with ARM processors and on-chip interfaces such as OCP and AXI.
  • Strong background in architecture and microarchitecture improvements for performance, power consumption, and silicon area.
  • Excellent skills in writing technical specifications and user manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and brainstorming abilities.

Nice to Have

  • Deep understanding of cache coherency protocols.
  • Experience with code generators for configurable hardware descriptions.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as TCL, Perl, and Python.
  • Knowledge of SystemC, C++, and TLM2.0.

Education & Language Requirements

  • PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English and French.
