We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading company in the data centre industry, for an experienced Senior Account Manager to drive client relationships, manage key accounts, and support business growth in the London market. This is a strategic role focused on account development, customer retention, and revenue growth in a highly competitive sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key clients, ensuring strong relationships and long-term partnerships.
- Develop and execute account strategies to drive customer satisfaction and business expansion.
- Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and proactively pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams, including operations, engineering, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions with clients.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing technical, operational, and commercial queries.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to provide strategic insights.
- Maintain accurate account records, forecasts, and pipeline management using CRM tools.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development within the data centre, IT, or technology sectors.
- Strong understanding of data centre services, colocation, cloud solutions, and critical infrastructure.
- Track record of managing high-value clients and delivering revenue growth.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work strategically and analytically, with a focus on customer success.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
