We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading company in the data centre industry, for an experienced Senior Delivery Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of data centre projects in London. This role is critical in ensuring that infrastructure, operational, and client projects are executed on time, within scope, and to the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and completion of complex data centre projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and external contractors, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, mitigating risks and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors to align expectations and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Implement best practices in project management, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies.
  • Track project performance using KPIs, reporting tools, and risk management frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all project phases.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and efficiency gains in delivery operations.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior project managers and delivery teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project or delivery management within the data centre, critical infrastructure, or construction industries.
  • Strong expertise in managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects, with a track record of successful delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling, and network systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex operational environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience in client-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Prince2, PMP, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in project management software and reporting tools.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
