Our client is a leading semiconductor company specializing in low-power solutions for IoT and AI applications. Their innovative technology enables energy-efficient computing, intelligent processing, and advanced connectivity for next-generation smart devices.

To support their expanding system validation and testing efforts, they are seeking a Staff System Test Engineer based in the USA. This role will focus on validating, debugging, and optimizing system-level performance of their low-power semiconductor solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute system-level test plans for IoT and AI semiconductor products.
  • Perform hardware and software validation, ensuring power efficiency, performance, and reliability.
  • Identify, debug, and resolve system-level issues across hardware, firmware, and software stacks.
  • Work closely with design, applications, and software teams to improve test coverage and validation methodologies.
  • Automate test procedures, data collection, and analysis for efficient and scalable validation.
  • Document test results, provide feedback to engineering teams, and contribute to product optimization.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in system-level testing, validation, or QA for embedded systems or semiconductor products.
  • Strong proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (Python, Perl, or similar).
  • Knowledge of low-power design principles, RF/wireless communication (BLE, Wi-Fi, LPWAN), and embedded firmware debugging.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power measurement tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on system-level performance and efficiency.
