We are seeking an experienced and driven Lighting Specification Sales Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the architectural, commercial, and residential sectors. Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers including architects, designers, specifiers, and contractors.
  • Project Management: Manage and oversee the sales process from initial inquiry through to project completion, ensuring that all specifications are met and customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing expert advice on lighting solutions, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical support and guidance on lighting products and solutions, including energy-efficient and sustainable options. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to inform client recommendations.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and new opportunities. Develop strategies to increase market share and meet sales targets.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the design, technical, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Provide feedback to the product development team based on client needs and market demands.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, providing insights into sales performance, market conditions, and client feedback.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sales, with a focus on lighting solutions and specification sales within the UK market.
  • Strong understanding of the lighting industry, including knowledge of products, technologies, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
